Roof Replacement in Decatur, GA

When your roof reaches the end of its life, patching it stops being an option. Roofit Restoration provides full roof replacement throughout Decatur, GA and the surrounding Atlanta metro — from older homes near downtown Decatur and Oakhurst to newer builds in Avondale Estates, Clarkston, and Scottdale. If your roof is leaking in multiple spots, missing shingles after a storm, or simply past the 20-year mark, a replacement protects everything underneath it: your decking, your attic, your insulation, and your family.

We're a BBB Accredited business with an A+ rating, and our work is backed by 50+ Google reviews from homeowners across the Decatur area. That matters when you're about to make one of the larger investments in your home.

Signs your Decatur home needs a new roof

A repair handles a localized problem. A replacement is the right call when the roof as a whole has worn out. Common signs we see on Decatur homes include:

• Shingles that are curling, cracking, or losing granules (you'll see granule buildup in your gutters)

• Multiple active leaks or recurring stains on your ceilings

• Daylight visible through the attic roof boards

• Sagging rooflines, which can signal decking or structural moisture damage

• A roof that's 20–25+ years old, especially after Georgia's heavy summer storms and hail

If you're not sure which camp you're in, we'll tell you honestly. Plenty of the roofs we inspect have years of life left, and we'll say so.

What a Roofit roof replacement includes

Every replacement starts with a free, no-pressure inspection. From there, a typical project includes:

1. Full tear-off of the old roofing down to the decking, so we can see and address any hidden damage.

2. Deck inspection and repair - we replace any rotted or compromised plywood before new material goes on.

3. New underlayment and ice-and-water shield in vulnerable areas like valleys and around penetrations.

4. Premium shingles or your chosen system - we install quality architectural shingles and offer manufacturer options like Owens Corning.

5. New flashing, vents, and drip edge to seal the areas where most leaks actually start.

6. Full cleanup and magnetic nail sweep of your yard and driveway when we're done.

Materials built for Georgia weather

Decatur summers are hot and humid, and our storm season brings wind and hail. We install architectural (dimensional) shingles rated for high wind and built to resist the granule loss that our climate accelerates. If you want maximum longevity or a premium look, ask us about metal roofing as an alternative - it's a strong fit for a lot of Decatur homes.

Insurance and storm replacements

A large share of Decatur roof insurance claims are tied to storm and hail damage, which means insurance may cover much of the cost. We routinely work alongside homeowners and their adjusters: we document the damage thoroughly, meet the adjuster on site when needed, and make sure the scope reflects the real condition of your roof. If you suspect storm damage, start with our free inspection before you file.

Financing available

A new roof is a major expense, and it shouldn't have to wait until something fails. We offer financing options so you can move forward now and pay over time.
